Basement updates

A few updates: I forgot to take a before picture prior to starting paint sorry! So this was as I was beginning the bottom layer. Note the small old window tyler is starting to cut. Also our old blue carpet is still down. Its hard to see though. And the room is a mess with all the stuff we cleared out from the other rooms. But you get the idea!

This is the room half done. New carpet and walls painted. We still need to paint the ceiling, get new light fixtures and finish some odds and ends. I have some vinyl designs I need to put up too. That coffee table will be going, i want a really open feel. Some of the decorations for the built in entertainment center are on it. The entertainment center will be built into the wall on the left that you cant see. There will be some shelves that I will have to decorate once its done.

I mod podged my light plates with cute scrapbook paper!

So we still have tons of little things to get done but it is coming along!

I also wanted a gray carpet but ended up with a nutral beige like carpet. I like it still and it is better for the bedrooms and down teh road if I redecorate.
